As stated in the Studio Syllabus, “absence from any lesson will be excused for illness, family emergency, religious obligation, audition or job interview, or a USC event only” (this includes studio performance class or "master class seminar"). Excuses involving illness will only be excused for those who bring a doctors notice from the health lab or equivalent. Prior notice is greatly appreciated and should be expected. In the response of a missed lesson, every reasonable effort will be made to make it up. Lessons/classes missed without prior notification risk being graded as failing and will not be made up.
